Geez, this place is dead. Here's something new: Now we have to think about the hero. Since you all seem to want a 20-something heroine (which is practically middle-aged in Joss 'Verse!) she'll need somebody a little more mature to either kick ass with or beat up on.

Well, it has yet to be seen whether a hero is necessary at all., we don't know what sort of story it is.

Yeah, I can't really vote for wanting Joss to write the story a certain way. He'll tell it the way it needs to be told.
But still, good on ya for firing up a new thread!

Just for clarification, Goners has already been written :)

Yeah, I think everybody knows that. This thread was just for fun, kind of a guess-what-the-story-is or say-what-you-hope-the-story-is kind of game while we pass the many months before we are likely to know enough about the flick to actually have discussions about it.

Exactly. If or when Joss ever reads our blog, I am absotively posilutely certain he's not going to get any story ideas from my silly poll! I just want to see how everybody's thinking about the movie with our near-total uncluishness. Uncluity? Anybody else is welcome to start up a new star attraction poll thread. Maybe one about the sidekick? The deathly enemy? The mother figure? The irritating little geek that finally comes up with the monster killer?
In case you haven't noticed, I love polls! :D

Seth Green. Gotta have Seth Green in there somewhere. And not necessarily as the irritating nerd that saves the day...how about as a scary sort of guy who appears and disappears without warning? Or...here's a thought...as a heroic type.

I love Seth Green. He can be my hero . . . without the tights.

Isn't Mia going to be the 'Hero'?
Also, maybe it's just me but 25 and 30 seem about the same? Maybe it's 'cause I am old...er than 30.

The problem is that the original Star Attractions asked what kind of character you think Mia's going to be as the heroine. For some unknown reason (curse you Gossiganger!) that thread got deleted. Possibly running out of space.
Anyway, the original poll was based on what age y'all think she should be and what degree of naivete she'll have. For some reason, almost everybody went for 20-ish rather than the two teen-agey options which (to me) seemed more likely for Joss. That's why the above poll is limited to twenty-to-thirtysomethings heros/antiheros.
I think we're pretty certain now that she'll be a teen-agey heroine so this thread is kind of obsolete. It wouldn't kill me if the Gossiganger deleted it...
But I'd expect somebody else to come up with some decent polls, darn it!!!

I would tend to think Joss would go the teenagey route as well, since that is his pattern. Plus, room for growth and more stories to tell. The younger the better I say.

Thanks! That makes a lot more sense :)
