So will Jonathan Woodward continue his streak and appear on Dollhouse? What about some of the other hattricks? Who seems to fit this plot?

Carlos would make a great weasely guy who uses the Dolls as his thievery accomplices or something. B)

Clearly one of the primary scientist/lab guys that dies in the first episode has to be \"Dobson\".

True Cabri, but he does seems to play the same character everytime. He looks all innocent but really isn\'t. Joss would have to surprise us on this one by switching it around.

Totally! Dobson has to be one of the first to die, that\'s what he\'s good at!

He is good as the sweet candy shell with the chewy evil center.

Because of my insane love of Jonathan Woodward because of the movie Wit--which you should all watch as soon as possible if you haven\'t seen it--I think it would be great if he was a permanent cast member. Joss should take at least one of the hattricks and give them a full-time job. ;) How fun would that be?

I keep thinking that Amber Benson would be great at playing vastly contrasting personalites. I\'d like to see that.

\'Tash you\'re brilliant. Amber would be perfect as one of the other dolls. I\'m sure Joss will play with some new faces for awhile, but if he decides to bring in some familiar talent, Amber would be fantastic.

I\'d quite like to see a lot of the old faces, but to be honest the best thing about Firefly was the new actors it introduced me to, so I\'m hoping that any familiar faces are either in guest/recurring roles and that Joss and Eliza find fresh new talent for this.

I\'d love to see Amber Benson, that would be great, since her and Eliza knew each other way before Buffy from working on Bye Bye Love.

I\'d like to see Amy Acker or maybe Nicholas Brendon as well, even as guest roles.

Ah but those people aren\'t ones who have appeared in all 3 of Joss\'s shows.I\'m talking about Andy Umberger, Jeff Ricketts, Bob Fimiani, etc.
I\'d like to see Umberger myself.

Jonathan would make a great client for the Dollhouse - the guy who hires Echo for her first job (that we see)

Yes--
Of course everyone loves to see old faces, but I\'d like to see some new ones as well mixed into it. I know Eliza will do great at it, mostly because I know she can really become Echo. She made Faith and Tru such distinctly different people that I\'m sure she can do it again, but she\'ll need more than talent. She\'ll need a supporting cast that is new so that we can whatch who they become instead of thinking about who they were in past roles.

Just so--
My only expectation is thatthey are good enough to read a script by Joss.

that is so true he should definitely be in the first ep... client would be perfect... espiecially if the viewer at first thinks his motives for using the dollhouse were innocent and then we find out they are evil... it would be classic!

this is a reply to the last post on page one... i didn\'t see that there was two pages.

Joss said in the initial interview that he would be picking the best people for the roles, whether they be \'old faithfuls\' or new talent.

Chances are there may well be some recurrences - they all move around in the same circles and Joss always picks talent, so our familiar faces have already proved that they\'re floating at the top.

Bring on the talent I say!

I\'d be highly amused if the hat-tricks got a fourth appearance on a Joss Whedon show. (Though there is no cool word for it, and they wouldn\'t be hat-tricks anymore) Someone said earlier that what they loved about Firefly was the fresh faces, and I agree with that entirely. Honestly, I feel the most we should get from any previous Whedon alumni is a guest appearance, and really, only if they fit the part. Subtle references to other parts of the Jossverse are fine by me though, especially the ones only obsessive fans would get.

If Joss finds new talent then yay, as so far, they\'ve been outstanding.

Personally I think Jonathan, whom I kissed a mere month or go or so, would be fantastic as a doll. Also, Amber\'s acting sytle would really suit the show too!

How about Danny Strong would be fantastic, he already had that \"I\'m so naive\" trait down to a tee!

Christina Hendricks (Saffron in Firefly) would be an obvious (too obvious, perhaps) choice for a \"doll\", since Saffron switches between several very different personalities. But of course Christina is busy with Mad Men at the moment.

An appearence by Tina Majorino would be cool, but not so much if she was a geeky dollhouse techie person because that would just be Mac from Veronica Mars all over again.

Also... Mark A. Sheppard.. Badger, would be great in this. Though I\'m enjoying him in Bionic Woman also.

Adam Busch as sleazy client. Hmmm.... too easy?

Ah! Asian Dan!

Speaking role for Asian Dan!

Ideally, Whedon should purposefully hire Andy Umberger, Carlos Jacott, and Jonathan Woodward, and put them somewhere prominent but ultimately pointless in the pilot-- er, uhm, I mean FIRST episode since technically there will be no pilot.

In fact, I think he should have them featured very importantly in the first five minutes of the first episode, make us think they\'re gonna be show regulars, and then have one of the characters (who actually is a regular) kill all three of them off one by one in nasty ways to show how bad ass the really prominent characters really are. Call the first episode \"Hat Trick\" even tho it has nothing to do with the rest of the episode.

Personally I would prefer Woodward get a regular role. He\'s proven he can do it. He\'s dependable. He delivers the goods. The camera loves him. However, Whedon\'s made it clear in interviews that he\'s gonna be casting mostly new faces. If we get any Whedon alumni in this new school? It\'ll be an exception instead of the rule, and it\'ll be despite conscious efforts not to give in to such pressures.

Summer Glau would make a great Doll though. Probably a better one than Eliza... come to think of it, for Eliza\'s sake, they better never cast Glau on the show. You don\'t wanna overshadow your star talent with better guests.

...is Danny Strong doing anything?

Agreed!!! Summer Glau would be awesome to see as a guest star. Of course, if she did come on the show, Joss would just film her feet the entire time!

Yes I think Jonathan Woodward will appear in Dollhouse before too long then will have been in all of Joss show.Carlos Jacott is also looking for clean sweep as he\'s been a bad guy Buffy, Angel and Firefly.

It\'s more likely names like these to rather then A list Buffy/Angel/Firefly star at least until Dollhouse has it\'s own identity. That is unless one of big names is set to be a regular?

If I had a choice Amber Benson would be that big name as she is a fantastic actress and not to mention very beautiful!
