As most of you probably know Felicia Day is on Twitter (a lot!), what you may not know is that she is ranked No.9 (at time of writing) on Twitter Grader (http://twitter.grader.com/topusers) - I'm a lowly 40,937 (out of 61,567) (Zols Twitter Page (http://twitter.com/dc_zol)).

You may recognise a few other famous people on Twitter too - Dr Horrible, Stephen Fry (currently filming in Africa), Robert Llewellyn (Kryten from Red Dwarf), John Cleese etc. etc.

It's worth while checking these people out especially if you want the latest gossip straight from the horses mouth.

Join Twitter today and Twitter from the web or use an iPhone and one of the many apps to do it on the move (not whilst driving though)

My rating has gone up a little, but it still makes me wonder why people click on follow without saying anything - I tend to follow Bobbyllew, he's just this guy who lives close by and does these funny but NSFW YouTube Videos (profanity) look up Llewtube, Professor Alice or indeed bobbyllew on Youtube :-)

Current rating is 70%, I guess the power is with those who follow you ;-)

How does Twitter Spam actually work? You getthese companies who follow you in the insane chance that you will follow back? I think some people latch onto keywords (which you can search on)

You can even find out if someone has been talking about yourself by using the Twitter search (example of using the search - HERE (http://search.twitter.com/search?q=Firefly+Bluray) )

I love Twitter and it's FB app (in the UK we don't get mobile notifications from Twitter but do from Facebook)

You can of course 'protect your updates' so people ask to follow and then you can approve or deny - but then you only appear to your friends.

I twitter about anything and it's the nearest thing to a mini-blog in 140 characters for me

I haven't opened Twitter for a while... but the spam never bothered me. It did seem ridiculous and totally simple to ignore.
